“What we have been seeing is that Cyrax can gather thousands of points in one day which would take us weeks using traditional methods,” says the Chief of the Photogrammetry and Survey Division of the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation, Bradley Foltz. Mr. Foltz is the author of the article, "3D Laser Scanner Provides Benefits for PennDOT Bridge and Rockface Surveys," which appears in the May 2000 issue of Professional Surveyor magazine.
